Born to a British father and an Armenian-American mother, Kyle Kalebdjian Clark was raised in Kent, Connecticut and Seattle, Washington. His deep connection to his roots has played a big role in shaping his musical identity. Beginning his musical journey on the piano at the age of 5, Clark was drawn to composition at a young age. He moved to New York City in 2021 to study at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music where he developed his skills as a guitarist and composer and explored other musical styles and traditions. ​While studying abroad at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Clark made a name for himself in the Amsterdam jazz scene. He performed original music with his quartet around the city in various clubs, including a breakout performance at the BIMHUIS in 2024.​

Clark is also a proficient oud player. His music is infused with elements of Armenian folk traditions, seamlessly blending these with contemporary jazz to create a unique and evocative sound. The use of traditional Armenian scales, rhythms, and melodies within his compositions brings a rich, cultural depth to his work, reflecting his roots and personal history. Clark's innovative approach to music has earned him recognition in both local and international music circles. He continues to be a sought-after collaborator on both the guitar and the oud, known for his energy, creativity, and the cultural richness he brings to his work.
